Introduction to BLT & Experience OCF Early Bird
An introduction for Students who will enter 4th or 5th year in 2026 and New graduates (2023 onwards). This offer is available until 01/01/2026. Intro to OCF -This course explores the concept of Osteopathy in the Cranial Field and is based on the premise that the earlier emerging osteopaths improve their palpation of the body, the better all their hands on treatment skills will be. The course provides an introduction to the original and innovative work of Dr Sutherland and includes practical workshops where students will learn and improve hands on clinical practice skills. It offers a fun approach to learn skills that students can use right away. Relevant current research is included as part of taking an evidence- informed approach. Course Summary- Intro to BLT Together we will learn to improve our palpation. We will use our hands to make a comfortable contact with our patients in order to receive informative feedback. We will work on preparing ourselves and our patients to perform layer palpation. This will be done through practical workshops with experienced tutors with time for discussion. We will learn the principles of balanced physiological motion (BLT), which are applied as techniques for the spine, diaphragm and limbs. This will enhance your palpation of the body and give you more clinical skills for practice. On the day, you will have access to skilled osteopaths, who are keen to assist you with development of palpation, technique and clinical application of what you learn.
