The following dates and courses will be offered by the SCTF ANZ. More detailed course information will be updated on a semi-regular basis.
INFANT FEEDING PROGRAM
22 & 23 February 2020 at QVWC Melbourne.
This two day program will have a theory and workshop Saturday morning, embryology and anatomy Saturday afternoon with Brian Freeman and a practical day on Sunday. There are no prerequisites for the Sunday practical program except osteopaths must be registered with AHPRA or with the relevant body in their jurisdiction. Denise Cornall is academic director supported by a capable and skilled group of tutors including Jo Strybosch, Tink Gee, Emily Jones, Allison Atkin, and Brendan Atkin.
21-22 March 2020 in Melbourne
Do you treat sporty teenagers? Are you keen to revise common considerations and learn new techniques to treat teens? Join us for this two day face-to-face course (plus additional online lectures and materials). This course will include techniques and management of common over-training conditions (ie; Severs Disease; Osgood Schlatters) treatment during fracture recovery, and concussion management (including return to school/sport guidelines).
20-22 June 2020 at QVWC Melbourne.

This 40-hour program comprises a three day practical segment with a maximum tutor to student ratio of 1:4. Students must also complete the online program that consists of pre-course review and assessment as program modules.
Balanced ligamentous tension (BLT) 1
25-26 July 2020 at the Robina Centre, Queensland.
Course Director Tink Gee. Tink has been involved with BLT for more than 10 years. The course will have a tutor:student ratio no greater than 1:6. The program is also supported by online resources in the SCTFANZ learning portal.
THE FACE (intermediate program)
17-18 October 2020 in Canberra.
SCTFANZ are pleased to have Dr Cate Macdonald as Course Director supported by Drs Maxwell Fraval and Amanda Heyes. The face is an intricate mechanism and this intermediate program builds on the skills learnt in a ‘Fundamentals’. You will explore the face in detail, supported with practical techniques and consideration of some of the many clinical considerations that present in clinic. You will have attended one ‘Fundamentals’ and be a registered osteopath to register.
